Successful FinTech whose market leading software enables customers to build high-performance web trading applications is seeking a Software Developer join their team. As a Software Developer you’ll design and develop new features for complex, large scale applications utilising JavaScript and React on the front end and Java and Kotlin on the backend.

On a typical day you can expect to be creating compelling front-end applications for performance critical FinTech applications, building well architected and tested products, participating in team planning sessions and hack days, and learning new skills from your skilled, likeminded developer teammates.

The company is based in London however, you can work remotely 2 – 3 days a week. This is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your skills and gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems whilst working within a relaxed software house environment.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Java programming
  • Experience working with front end technologies including JavaScript, React, HTML5 and CSS3
  • Understanding of Agile practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Desirable: financial services background

As a Software Developer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £55k) plus benefits including 6% pension contribution, enhanced maternity / paternity policies, season ticket loan, 24 days holiday rising annually to 28 days, and regular training opportunities.
