Principal Building Automation Engineer

You’d love to take your career in Data Centres to the next level, but how to do it?

Large companies can be stifling and you don’t want to stagnate.

Small businesses can offer great experiences, but who wants the risk of instability and messy processes.

But what if you could have the acceleration to your career and the dynamic culture which a start-up can provide, without any of the downsides?

You would be joining a business who have $5bn turnover globally, but only started their long-term investment in the UK 5 years ago. They’re now at 26 people in the UK and still have that exciting start-up feel.

The ambition is to scale their UK business to the same heights as they’ve reached in the US, so this is a unique opportunity to get in at the early stages of something huge. As you’d be part of an employee-owned business you’ll reap the rewards of this.

As the #2 Data Centre Engineering company worldwide, this is the place to be to develop yourself to new heights in the sector. And it’s always a good sign when they’ve been named one of the best Consultancies to work for in the UK.

As a Principal Building Automation Engineer here you will be able to utilize your hands-on knowledge in the design of PLC and DDC-based HVAC control systems and EPMS to ultimately build a team under you.

You’ll be client-facing in this role, so able to deal directly with the people whose projects you’re delivering on as well as getting stuck into leading the development of Instrument & Controls Engineering design packages.

You’d based out of their London office near Liverpool Street station for three days a week, with 2 days working from home and flexibility on your start and finish times.

If you’re experienced in producing Building Automation systems for Data Centres then this is your opportunity to be part of a team filled with entrepreneurial spirit, where you’ll make a measurable impact with every project you touch.

This position will provide a salary of £70,000 – £90,000 plus £6,000 car allowance, plus 15-20% bonus and a superb share scheme. Relocation assistance is available if you’re not living in the South East

If this sounds intriguing and you’d like more information then please apply. Don’t worry if you don’t have an updated CV, just use what you have and we’ll take it from there.
