The Opportunity

Your digital and analytical skills can make a lasting difference to Britain’s democracy. By introducing modern technology and measurement approaches, we can make Parliament more open and accessible and streamline decision-making at every level. So you’ll have a vital role to play at the heart of UK Parliament.

Collaborating with research, design, delivery and data professionals, you will assist in realising customer-focused design solutions for digital projects, products and services. This will involve:

  • helping teams and colleagues across Parliament optimise the value of digital solutions
  • defining success measures and metrics for internal and public-facing products and services
  • using diverse data tools to transform, analyse and communicate key performance data
  • applying industry-standard insight services and tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to monitor effectiveness
  • collaborating with research and design colleagues to interpret customer needs, behaviours and trends
  • building a robust performance analysis capability across the digital team

What You Need

To ensure we attain the highest standards in everything we do, you should bring:

  • experience of working with large and complex data sets
  • proven ability to present your findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • flair for measuring benefits and performance across multiple projects
  • deep knowledge of legal, privacy, security and ethical issues concerning data collection
  • excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to enhance operational processes
  • the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK

About The Team

Our Customer Experience Design Team brings together User Researchers, Performance Analysts, Service Designers, Interaction Designers and Product Managers to empower stakeholders across Parliament to understand customers, take key decisions and implement effective digital solutions. Whatever the context or channel, we’re here to align activity with evolving needs, champion creativity and find outcomes that take innovation to the next level.
