We are one of the leading home insurance providers looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and own our cloud infrastructure alongside a team of fantastic minds.

You’ll be part of the Platform Engineering team, where you will be working on a product that builds and delivers a greenfield containerised AWS infrastructure. You’ll be getting stuck into enhancing the developer experience and build a brand new tool set, which enables rapid delivery of updates and new features.

You’ll be streamlining the developer experience working in a team of DevOps Engineers with a shared passion of cloud infrastructure and security practices.

We’re also expanding our high level products and partnerships driven by Big Data and ML to develop our employee’s autonomy and ability to ‘build it, run it’.

The role will involve:

  • Develop infrastructure, security, and software best practice.
  • Building pipelines, provisioning cloud infrastructure, responsible for monitoring and logging.
  • Acting cross functionally, imparting advice to the developer teams and allowing them to understand your role in the Platform team, how best they can support your projects and understand what they need from you.
  • Involved in problem solving in a fast paced environment and work with other like minded people to create solutions to our real world problems.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience with AWS based Cloud Infrastructure and ideally have an understanding of Serverless Services: ECS/Fargate, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, Route53, Lambda.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Good experience with automating everything, building testable and repeatable infrastructure through CD pipelines.
  • Experience with CI/CD
